This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
The materials for this project will be used in a middle school classroom, grades 6-8. The class will consist of units centered around design, coding, engineering, and architecture.
The class will embrace the ideas of creating empowered learners, digital citizens, knowledge constructors, innovative designers, computational thinkers, creative communicators and global collaborators.
Students will work colaboratively to design solutions to real-life problems.
The materials will be used in conjunction with tasks that will develop and promote the skills above to prepare learners for their future as citizens and in the workplace.
