My Students

This school year, I teach 20 brilliant Kindergarten students. We are lucky to live on Kauai where our COVID numbers remain relatively low. We still get to enjoy our beaches, families, and friends. COVID-19 will not hinder these children from learning and playing.

Instead, the current pandemic will teach these students resilience.

They will work hard, play hard, and always challenge each other to do better day in and day out.

My Project

With the rapid rise of COVID-19 cases nationwide, my students need protective gear and preventative supplies.

All supplies requested are used every day.

Proper hand washing and masks are the best defense in protecting ourselves from COVID-19. We have upped hand washing routine to four times a day and are in need of hand soap and paper towels.

All students should arrive to school with a mask. Some forget their mask at home. Others do not carry extra masks. The requested masks will go to these students in need- a few needing adult sized masks.

Lastly, we are in need of sanitizing wipes to wipe down our desks and chairs every afternoon.
