Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kindergarten students love to share stories enhancing their social and emotional needs, but students need to learn how to protect themselves and stay well.

My students are a lot of fun to teach!

We learn together from one another. This is the time to discuss the real world and what we can do to protect one another from the flu and COVID-19.

I want my children to feel safe and to be comfortable. They touch pencils, books, door handles, and other items that collect germs. We discuss these germs and how to stay healthy.

The Lysol disinfecting wipes will be used to disinfect all materials touched each and every day. This will keep students in school and learning. I will use the wipes to clean tables and used student materials after school. That way, students are not present to touch the disinfecting wipes.

The Huggies baby wipes will be used for students to clean tables and other things during the school day. Students will enjoy the easy-to-use, no-touch, soap dispenser with the lavender scent. The lavender soap and soap dispenser will ensure a safe and germ-free classroom. This is an important goal in our kindergarten classroom as students will be healthy in school and learning every day.

We will continue to practice and learn to be safe together. Thank you for caring about our classroom and taking the time to read our proposal.
