This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a group of 5th graders who love to learn and share things. One thing I don't need them sharing, however, is their germs. For this reason, I am requesting Clorox wipes and tissues to keep the spread of germs at bay in my classroom. We will use the wipes to clean our desks as well as commonly used items such as shared markers and our small group table when it comes time for centers. If we can keep the germs away from the students, they will be in school more often instead of home with the cold or flu. The ink cartridges will be used in our classroom color printer/copier to print out certificates of achievements for celebrations of goals met, birthdays, and recognition of outstanding work done on the part of my amazing students.
