Germ Busters!

Help me give my students these goodies to make sure the germs don't get us sick. The UV wand will be especially handy for my highest touch surfaces-the cots!

My Students

My students are from challenging backgrounds and often depend on me for essentials like feminine hygiene products. Many times I purchase these out of my own pocket.

I treat each student like they are my own.

They often live with someone other than that typical mom that you can turn to for anything. The majority of my students are on food stamps and there just isn’t enough money left for things like soap. Some don't have running water at home. Many of us take these things for granted. But my students have nowhere else to go.

My Project

Students are self conscious about being clean, even at an early age. When they don't have resources at home-soap, water etc, they often retreat into themselves and don't learn well. They are also very concerned about COVID.

These items will help those in need of a quick wash up, self esteem boost and reassurance that we are doing everything we can to keep them safe and healthy.

In the case of the UV light, it will provide extra assurance that everything is being done to blast the germs out of our building. Being clean will boost self esteem in no time!
