My Project

My students have been learning all about materials that make up the Earth. We are currently learning about rocks and their properties and they are so excited!

The students are constantly bringing rocks from home, wanting to know more about what kind of rock they found.

I want to continue to foster their excitement and curiosity by exposing them to different kinds of rocks with their very own 4M Rock Excavation kit. They would get to excavate their very own rocks and take them home. It would be a great STEM activity for my students to be able to explore rocks and compare their properties.

They will also get to finish excavation at home with their parents. This project will allow the students to start a rock collection and help foster their learning and excitement about rocks and minerals.
