Our school is currently a Title I school. All of our students receive free breakfast and lunch; the majority of our students come from low-income homes or single parent homes. I teach kindergarten and first grade (high functioning) Academic Autism. My students are absolutely amazing! They are always very eager and excited to learn and explore the curriculum.
Despite their positive attitudes towards learning, often times they struggle to latch on to the content because their sensory needs were unable to be met.
They enjoy exploring the curriculum through hands-on activities and experiences through technology. I want the best for my students because they are nothing short of the best, and they deserve nothing but the best to assist them throughout their learning experience. With your support, I can ensure that the best is what they will receive.
Our classroom structure encourages student led learning opportunities and experiences. The use and daily implementation of technology is vital to my students' daily motivation to learn and fully engage in our organic learning environment.
We are currently living in a world where technology constantly evolves and opportunities are created for everyone to reach unlimited heights.
My students are always very eager to explore, learn, and grow academically; they deserve to have access to the best educational technology. I want to ensure that as their teacher I provide them with every opportunity possible for an unlimited amount of organic learning experiences to occur. The OSMO Genius Kit and its additional educational activities will ensure the occurrence of those experiences.
