My students need to be exposed to things such as hands-on gene probability labs, multimedia science lessons to explore genetics, and hereditary traits labs to name a few.

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

If you were able to take a virtual tour into our school, you'd see that it is made up of a student body of different backgrounds that create a beautiful mosaic of bright minds with the potential to create a wonderful world. That said, a large portion of our students need the right tools to flourish, but lack the financial means to have access to those tools are a barrier.

Our students need a variety of materials to enhance their biomedical learning experience. To truly get interested and excited about helping society through the biomedical field, our students need to be exposed to things such as hands-on genes and probability labs, multimedia science lessons on genetics, and hereditary traits labs to name a few. Students will have the chance to explore how traits, including diseases, are held in our genes and have the chance to be passed down from generation to generation using lab materials that the students can manipulate. Students will be able to enhance their activities with multimedia software that allows them to conduct virtual labs and to perform experiments and simulations at the click of a button. With science activities like these, these students will have a better chance to learn, understand and apply science in a real way - like finding cures for genetic diseases!. With activities like these, students will have a better chance to become passionate about science!
To make science learning fun and interesting students need a variety of materials to stimulate their minds and to help them bring science to life. By helping theses students now, our future surely has a better chance to be a better place.
