There was plenty of screaming in class today, but I am happy to say that it was the good kind of screaming. The students were both delighted and disgusted by their squid (in some cases mostly disgusted). We were able to examine both the external and internal anatomy of the squid, and they removed many structures to understand the squid's body, such as the pen, eye, beak, inc sac and others. They really enjoyed finding out if their squid was a male or female also!
