This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are EL students who are mostly refugees and immigrants who recently arrived in America. I'm hoping to give them more real life experiences with science that maybe they did not have in their home countries. I hope you are willing to donate to these projects and help us. Your money will be used to buy microscope slides for the students to look at to learn more about genetics. These slides show the steps of mitosis and meiosis which are important in learning how DNA is replicated. Thank you!
