Help me give my students a new experience in the art studio classroom. Many have never made an art project using a printing process with plates and rollers. Let them experience the joy of art without a paintbrush.
Many students in current classrooms are coming back to art after having covid art at home using just markers and crayons. I would love for my students to fully immerse themselves in the many processes that artists create.
Gel printing allows students to explore their creative side by experimenting with different colors, textures, and patterns.
This helps enhance their artistic skills and imagination. Students learn the concept of cause and effect as they observe how different techniques and materials affect the outcome of their prints. Gel printing also encourages critical thinking and problem-solving skills as students make decisions during their art processes.
