This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My cheerleaders are a creative, thoughtful and passionate group of young ladies that are full of life and energy!

Whether in the classroom, on the court/field or through personal connections, these ladies come to school each day ready to cheer, motivate and support their peers.

Our school is the safest and most stable place in many of their lives. Many of them face dire challenges at home that no child should ever have to encounter; however, they still show up with a smile on their face ready to help others. It is an absolute joy to be able to coach and mentor these young ladies.

My Project

Our girls are excited to come to practice and ready to work hard each and every week. They also put in work outside of practice so that they shine on the floor. Their moves are crisp and we would love to have sharp new team shirts to wear while showing off our moves at our games. I am requesting bows, pom, and shirts and to create our team shirt uniform.

Creating team shirts will give the girls an added boost of confidence so they are inspired to do their best.

The extra boost of confidence will help the look as good as they feel while cheering on our basketball teams!
