Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please allow me the opportunity to give the students of my elementary school a Bookworm Vending Machine in our school. The book vending machine will help the students as visual reminders of the importance of literacy and encourage students to prioritize reading as a regular habit.

By integrating reading into the school culture, book vending machines will help students develop lifelong reading habits that extend far beyond their academic years.

I would like to give the students the opportunity to read and to motivate them to become lifelong readers. We are a low-income school and we really need the help to motivate and help our students to academically succeed.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
