It will give them opportunities to experiment, think creatively, and solve problems through hands-on exploration. As students build their mazes and experiment with motion, pathways, and different designs, they will discover that solving a challenge often takes patience and perseverance. Students will learn to test ideas, make improvements, and celebrate success together in a fun and engaging way.\r\n\r\nOne of the things we love most about these resources is that there is not always just one way to solve a problem. Students will be encouraged to think outside the box, try something new, and learn from their mistakes. They will experience those wonderful \"I figured it out!\" moments that build confidence and excitement about learning. These activities encourage students to keep trying even when something doesn't work the first time. That perseverance is an important skill that reaches far beyond the library and into every area of their learning.\r\n\r\nThe Gravity Maze will also provide opportunities for teamwork and communication. Students can share ideas, explain their thinking, listen to their classmates, and work together to find solutions. The containers will help keep all materials organized, accessible, and easy for students to manage independently. Students will be able to find what they need, take responsibility for the materials they are using, and return everything to its proper place when they are finished. Many of them had never used Color Sticks or Crayola Twistables before, and watching them discover the difference these tools made on paper was such a joy to see. They were fascinated by how smoothly the colors went down and how vibrant everything looked compared to what they were used to. It was exciting to see how excited they were using these supplies.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite reactions came from a class that received their very own complete box of crayons. In the past, our classroom relied on a small basket filled with broken and worn-down crayons that everyone shared. Having a fresh, full box to call their own made my students feel special and valued, and that feeling carried right into their artwork. You could see it in the care and pride they put into every piece they created.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, my students spent this year making art with bright, vibrant colors and tools that truly inspired them.
