Celebrating Black History Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are multilingual learners. They bring so much to the table but also need so much when it comes to academic vocabulary and language. By purchasing this table, I will be able to support small groups to make grade-level content comprehensible to all my learners. Small group instruction is crucial to English Language Development and this table allows us to work together in a setting that is in their Zone of Proximal Development. Also, the dry-erase feature of the table will greatly impact our students and their learning as well!
