My Project

In our Kindergarten classroom, we are currently working on planning and setting up our outdoor classroom space for our grade level to use! Students and I have recently been exploring outdoor math activities and are excited to further our outdoor learning experience.

My students and I are eager to create this space and to provide a wide variety of tools and materials for further exploration!

This project will provide our outdoor learning space with two wooden raised garden beds and gardening tools for students. These items will be placed in the garden area of our outdoor learning space and will help to further create a warm and inviting space for all! Students will both plant and tend to a variety of wild flowers that we will grow here. In this learning space, we will observe the life cycle of plants, study the various birds and insects that surround our outdoor space, and engage in endless learning!
