Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We started a garden this year at our school. We need children's gardening gloves and trowels to support our garden. We are also hopeful to plant new seeds next year and would love some compostable seed cups.

It is our hope that our garden beds will help to bridge the gap between school and home.

I serve in a Title 1 school in South Carolina. This year we worked with a community partner to build garden beds and start a pollinator garden. We hope to create a garden club where families come in and help us to maintain the garden. These supplies would make maintaining the garden so much easier.
