Garden Passion Project

Help me give my students the tools we need to revive our school garden. It has been neglected during the pandemic and is in serious need of some TLC.

My Students

I work with a group of gifted students in a Title I school. They are interested in technology and love to take on new challenges. They are busy learning 21st century skills because the jobs they hold in the future haven't even been created yet.

Collaboration and creativity is the key to a meaningful learning experience.

My students love to discover new ideas by being a part of the learning process. They are motivated to learn new things and face challenges with a positive attitude.

My Project

My students will be learning all about gardening, planting, maintaining and making an outdoor space that is enjoyable for all students at our school.

We will be learning how to clean out and prep the garden area and we will be learning how to plant from seed to seedling.

The students are excited to research plants in our area, and then continue the garden throughout the different seasons.

Students will learn how to work together as a team, manage time, research, ask questions and maintain a long term project. We can't wait to beautify our garden.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
