I work with an amazing group of students who are motivated to learn about and explore the world around them. Their drive to learn about our Earth and investigate the way things work has motivated me as a teacher and made my transition to a new school a truly life-changing event.

I have students who constantly want to revise work, stay for help, and complete extra work to increase their grasp of new concepts. I am so excited to see the projects and work that continues to grow in the minds of my students.
My Project
We are planning for the time we can regroup together and begin working on our newly established garden.
Even during this time that our school has been closed, many of my students have been checking in and wanting to work in the garden.
They are longing for time outside and to work on their school that they will soon have to leave even though they can't be there right now. They are so excited to plant seeds in rounds and have been asking me to leave/mail them seeds so that they can go work in the garden even though we can't all go together.
These materials will allow us to support and enhance our garden that we have been working hard to establish this year and to begin the transition to a centerpiece of our community with the hope that we will truly plant a difference in our neighborhood and our school.
