This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal is to increase students' interest in the garden area. I want students to enjoy the outdoors environment. Along with garden beds, I hope to increase their interest with a water table. Students will have the ability to watch the flow of water. They will have mats on the tables to create a writing surface for observing their findings in this outdoor classroom.

My students are active and need a calming space with nature.

Thank you for considering giving them this opportunity to explore outdoors. Their inquisitive sides can be stimulated in this setting, while learning about conservation of water.
