Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are working on computer application with a gaming component. This includes using a coding website to learn to code in C, HTML, and apps. The students have been working to write code and use binary numbers to communicate in code.

This class includes talking to each other over headsets to redefine problems, understand relationships in apps, and how to process information with application writing.

My students also work with how apps will appear on a smart watch. This will include getting the apps to appear on other devices. Each student will have a chance to work on coding techniques in a gaming chair. One experiment the STEAM class is doing is performance of a regular office chair, to standard chair, to gaming chair. Does it really make that much difference.

The end of the class will have attempts for each student to make an app for computer gaming pc for sports statics. Some students will use the computer hardware to apply to gaming, writing code for games, and coming up with new ideas for games.
