Gaming in Fourth (old school)

My Project

CES is centered in an amazing city, so of course, I’m blessed with 20 awesome nine and ten-year-olds.

My students LOVE gaming, and so do I, just differently!

Help give my students the gift of friendly competition, socialization, problem-solving, and so much more! Each morning my students come into the classroom, and instead of worksheets or going on their Chromebook (most spend many hours on screens at home) get to pick from different games or building activities, we call it Soft Start. Soft Start allows for students to connect on a personal level with each other, and the supplies I’m requesting will support this. I love teaching my students new games and they love it even more. The class set of games will allow me to teach every child how to play at once. Teaching these games also allows me to teach about winning and losing and supporting friends.
