My students need materials such Tangrams, Marble Run and Brain Flacks to build necessary STEM and social skills in fourth grade. These building materials and critical thinking games will give my students the opportunity to design, build and play while still gaining a great educational experience. Elementary students need hands-on learning and collaboration by using these STEM materials, my students will demonstrate their engineering skills while still benefitting from the concept of "play". I will provide a soft start each morning to help my students begin their day with some hands-on activities and at their own interests. These building materials and games will be an important tool to help my students grow academically and socially as they work with classmates. Also included in my project is a toy storage system. My students will demonstrate their organizational skills by keeping these materials in the right place.
