This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Uno, Uno Attack. Read Heart Yarn and Sand Timers are needed for my school library. The sand timers are replacement pieced for the tabletop game Kites.IT is important that students have access to these games. These engaging games promote strategic thinking, cooperation and positive social interaction among students.

Many learners see the library as a safe inclusive space during lunch and using yarn to knit or crochet or playing Uno or games requiring the sand timers will offer meaningful, screen-free recreation that strengthens community.

In addition, the replacement pieces ensure a current game remains complete and usable.
