My class is composed of 26 dedicated and eager students! It is a Title 1 school, with a diverse learning environment. These students come from all different types of homes, background experiences, and academic successes. My students are curious, great at asking questions, and love to learn! I strive to make each student's learning environment a successful and enjoyable place.

My Project
ALL of my students need to be engaged during math time each day! In order for this to happen, I am trying to provide activities students enjoy outside of the classroom and connect them with our every day math activities.
You have the opportunity to truly reach all types of learners in my classroom!
Some of these items include a giant Jenga game, a giant Connect 4 board, a hanging basketball hoop, and a spinner for teams to win prizes.
My class is composed of many different types of learners. Some students are very visual, while some students love hands on learning. I believe these games would reach all different types of learning styles. You can help these students by providing materials to help create engaging learning experiences to teach math concepts in a variety of fun ways. These activities will spark excitement and keep the motivation of learning going the whole math block! My math instruction can also be differentiated and still use these amazing games.
