My Project
My students are 9th graders. This is a Freshman Studies class. Using games will help build social skills. The students are working on goals and making decisions. Through games and reflections on choices, my students will work on skills needed to help them in the future. Through the use of games my students will work together to read directions and learn the rules to play the games. They will learn to follow directions, take turns and build social skills. With these resources they will relate the gameplay to life situations.
