This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Games are a fun and motivating way to reinforce math and ELA concepts. They also serve as a motivator for students to earn at the end of class or on special days. Games are a great way to engage my students in small groups while reinforcing how to share, work together and engage socially with peers.

My students will use these games to help reinforce old skills and introduce new skills being taught, as well as, develop necessary social skills.

Having a variety of games will help to motivate my students to engage with content in a variety of ways. In addition, it will allow my students the time and space to engage socially with peers. Games can provide much needed academic and social skills for my students.
