Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Living in Arizona it is sometimes too hot for our students to have outdoor recess. As middle schoolers my students need something to do on days when it is so hot.

Upwords, Scrabble, Bananagrams, and other board games will help students develop critical vocabulary skills.

They will practice word building, listening, and speaking strategies.

I can't wait to see their faces when they see the boxes full of games arrive. No longer will they be so bored during any too hot days in Arizona. Instead, they will have a variety of word games to choose from.
