Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am asking for your help to enhance the learning experience in my junior high school ELA and Leadership classroom. With the use of board games and card games, I aim to create an engaging environment that fosters strong relationships and promotes essential social skills among our students.

In a world where human connection is often lacking, these games serve as more than just a source of entertainment.

They become a catalyst for building meaningful connections among our students. The strategic gameplay and collaborative nature of board and card games provide a unique platform for students to interact, communicate, and form friendships with peers they may not have initially considered. These games are intended to break down barriers and encourage our Stampede to forge connections that extend beyond the confines of our classroom walls.

Your support will enable us to bring these transformative experiences to our students, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie. I want to empower my students to learn, grow, and build lasting connections that will serve them well beyond their junior high years. Thank you for your support!
