This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

In my special education classroom, fostering social-emotional skills, literacy development, and strategic thinking is paramount to nurturing the holistic growth of my students. The social-emotional game provides a structured and engaging platform for students to explore and practice essential interpersonal skills such as empathy, communication, and cooperation, laying a foundation for healthy relationships and emotional regulation. Additionally, the Math game offers a unique avenue for honing critical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities, empowering students to approach challenges with creativity and confidence. Complementing these experiences, the reading game not only cultivates a love for literacy but also strengthens language comprehension, vocabulary acquisition, and overall academic proficiency. By integrating these diverse yet complementary resources into our curriculum, we can create a dynamic learning environment that caters to the diverse needs and interests of every learner in my classroom.
