My Students

My middle school students are the reason I love to go to school every day! The middle school years are an adventure! They can be challenging, awkward, fabulous, and crazy!

My students are talented in academics as well as extracurricular activities and have some of the best personalities I know!

They have me laughing every day! They are talented in so many ways besides academics and I feel blessed to be a part of three of the most important years of their life!

My Project

In the past 2 years, kids all over the world have had to be secluded at home for some time. This break from their social lives took a toll. Social skills need to be brought back and practiced. Board games can do that in a positive, fun way. By working together in small groups in a safe environment, they can practice cooperating, taking turns, figuring things out together, and cheering each other on. My goal is for them to remember how things used to be and look forward to more community activities.
