My Students

Kids love to play games, but we have a problem. Our games are too easy! Though it may not be the worst problem (it means we are doing great,) it can become rather challenging during small group instruction.

I teach an extremely bright group of students that are constantly looking for the next opportunity to shine.

They demonstrate respect for themselves and others. My students are inquisitive, curious, and fun to teach. One of the things I enjoy most is seeing how much effort they put into their learning. I would like to help them along their journey. These classroom materials would aid me in doing that.

My Project

My students need more challenging and enriching games such as Reading Comprehension Games Library, Vocabulary Building Games Library and at-My-Desk Vocabulary Building Games Library to help them with reading comprehension and vocabulary. At our school we strive to achieve the life-skills necessary to be cooperative and respectful, both of which are required when you are part of a team. Educational activities and games help children develop a sense of community and mutual respect. Since we are an intermediate elementary class, it can be difficult to locate games and other teaching tools that will provide an enriching challenge for my students. These teaching tools are an appropriate level for my students. There are over 30 different games included in this project request. They will definitely keep us busy learning!
