This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are the strongest students I know. They are resilient to the ever-changing environment and continue to persevere through any challenges they are presented with.

We will use the microscope for science lessons, which involve looking at plant and animal structures, and the 10-12 sided die for math games.

Both these items will be used to create a learning environment so that students will enjoy coming to school every day.

Choosing items for our classroom becomes a student-voice lead conversation. Allowing students to suggest ideas on what they want to see in our classroom gives me a better picture of what they enjoy and want and helps me make my teaching and learning environment better every year as a new group comes in, year in and year out.
