This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am seeking donations to purchase a collection of board games for my special education classroom. My students face unique challenges and often require regular mental breaks from academic tasks to manage stress, regulate emotions, and reset their focus. All of my students need mental breaks and they can’t process visual and auditory easily or at all.

Board games offer a fun, structured, and educational way to provide much-needed breaks.

These games will support social interaction, communication, and critical thinking while helping my students recharge in a safe and engaging environment. The pencil toppers, stickers and reward jar will provide small rewards for my students as they use the games. Your contribution will directly impact the emotional well-being and academic success of students by giving them the tools they need to thrive.
