My Project
My students can’t put them down. These are the books that start a love of reading: graphic novels!
I want to expand my library to include more books that my students love.
My students' favorite part of the day is coming in from recess and relaxing with a book of their choice during power reading. Most of my students want to read graphic novels, but they have re-read multiple times all of the ones I have in my classroom library.
Graphic novels support an understanding of character dialogue and inference skills with the use of pictures. Most importantly, kids love them and continue to read, read, read them!
