Children are filled with imagination and creativity but unfortunately, schools and teachers are struggling to provide art classes for students. I have witnessed the numerous benefits art provides my students because of how it can be utilized as a powerful vehicle of learning content and building confidence. It's so valuable to my students that every Friday afternoon is dedicated to a new art project where I can encourage my 4th graders to take appropriate risks as well as bring in different subject areas we are currently studying. Please help us afford some of the necessary supplies, like modeling clay, paint, and markers, that make these art projects all the more special.
