Game Balls

Help me give my students dodgeballs so we can play games. We use these foam balls at least once a week and our old sets are torn. We play many strategy games that require this equipment.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love to play games. They love to use their brains and bodies to try to outsmart their opponents.

We use foam dodgeballs as a safe way to play games that are strategic and exciting.

They get a whole body workout as they run, duck, throw, and dodge foam balls. We have several variations of a game called Battle Ball that my students love.

Because the dodgeballs are used so often, the ones we have are falling apart. We have used duct tape to piece back together the equipment we have. Duct tape isn't as soft as the skin of the ball normally would be. We really need this equipment to keep our games going.
