My Students

My students are a great group of children who love to write, draw, play, and be creative. Most of all, they love and need to be hands on with their learning. My students come from a range of backgrounds from single and double parent households, poverty to low-class socioeconomic status, ELL households, homelessness, and much more. Our school also has a 100% free lunch program for all of the students and they even get to take an extra lunch bag of food home each weekend.

They are an amazing group of children who deserve nothing but the best to thrive at school despite the challenges they face at home.

In my classroom, my students have formed a close knit community who love to help each other out especially while they are learning. They love to share what they already know and get super excited to try new activities and learn about new things! We are always exploring the world around us.

My Project

My students love to be hands on with their learning. In our room, we like to learn with our friends in small groups. Our friends help us learn while having fun! I have 20 amazing students who love to learn while playing games in their small groups.

By donating to my project, you will ensure my students will have fun and exciting literacy games to play with their friends during small groups.

These rhyming and alphabet games will help my students with early literacy skills to set them up with the foundational building blocks for successful reading. The magnetic puzzles will help build fine motor skills as they learn about letters, numbers, shapes, and colors. Then they can use their found knowledge of letters and fine motor skills by practicing their writing skills in their very own journal!

All of these materials will help improve the quality of learning by introducing new and exciting fun literacy games when we work in small groups each day!
