My Students

My Pre-K students are inquisitive, creative and motivated! From the time they enter the classroom with a hug, dance or High-Five, we are so happy to greet them!

They are so enthusiastic about learning and eager to share what they have learned with me, my assistant, each other and their parents.

My students love to discover new things, ask many questions and make new friends.

Their laughter for life is contagious and I feel privileged to teach them each day.

My Project

In this electronic day, learning from computers and technology is the way for the future for our children. I want my students to be able to have the same opportunities as their peers and to be comfortable using the equipment.

My school is a Title One /Headstart school supporting predominantly lower income families who are determined to do their best to succeed!

We have three desktop computers that are so old that now the software won't work on them. Our students had become very independent when using those computers, so I would love to give them their independence back.

My students would use these IPads in the technology center and learn more letter recognition, number sense, measurement and various academic skills from the updated programs.

We will be able to help more students by using these IPads for our classrooms each year.
