Future Stem Careers

My students need the Apple iPad Air to research STEM Careers and research available jobs in the county of nearby areas.

My Students

Many of my students have very little knowledge about planning future careers or filling out job applications. This could be their wake-up call about the future and how to plan for post high school.

I am working with 120 Seniors that are preparing for graduation and the future.

They attend a Title I school here in the Delta whose mission is to make them productive members of society. We know that STEM Careers are our students' future but many of them are not prepared for life after high school.

My Project

My students will use the Apple iPad to research STEM Careers, colleges and their requirements, and research available jobs in the county and nearby areas. They will also use the Apple iPad to apply for jobs and research vocational schools that they make be interested in attending. The Apple iPad will also let them take virtual field trips to see STEM Careers in action.

By funding this project, you will give my students much needed technology that will help them prepare for their College and future careers.
