Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This project will truly provide each of my students' the opportunity to feel important and shine on their graduation day. I wanted the graduation gowns so I could take pictures for their special day. They will be moving on to kindergarten and start a whole new journey in education.

The population that I serve is students with Autism and developmental challenges that may cause a delay cognitive and social development.

However, my students are rising stars because their disabilities does not define who they are and what they will become in the future. If you are able to donate to my project, it will provide our classroom with the tools they need for their individual success. I believe in progression, and although some of my students come from single family homes or some economic hardship, I want them to always feel that our classroom is their happy place no matter where they come from in their environment.
