My Project

My students come to class with curious minds, big questions, and a desire to understand the world around them. I want them to see science as more than something they read about in a textbook. I want it to be something they experience through hands-on exploration, meaningful investigations, and exciting discoveries.

The resources in this project will help transform our classroom into a space where students can observe, experiment, collaborate, and think like scientists.

From engaging Physical Science books that strengthen scientific literacy to hands-on learning tools, classroom supplies, and organizational resources, every item has been chosen to support active learning and student success. Laminating pouches will help create durable task cards, lab materials, classroom visuals, and reusable learning activities that students can use throughout the school year. Whether they're exploring Earth's systems, investigating matter, designing solutions, or collecting data, these resources will make learning more engaging and memorable while helping students build confidence, critical thinking skills, and a genuine love for science.

As a Title I charter school, many of my students benefit from additional classroom resources that help make hands-on learning possible. My goal is to create a classroom where curiosity is celebrated, questions are encouraged, and every student has the opportunity to discover the excitement of science through meaningful, hands-on learning experiences. Thank you for helping make that possible for my students.
