This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The arts are such an important part of being in school. Students learn how to express things like their needs and emotions when they are allowed to do art. However, art in kindergarten can be difficult. Paints are fun, but they are also messy. I plan to use the tools I have picked to make setting up art activities more realistic.

I want to give my students the opportunity to gain gross motor skills and learn to express their emotions through painting.

I have included more brushes than paint because many times my students have painted the sidewalks with chalk paint or even water. They really love every chance they get to hold a brush and express themselves.
