Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The headphones, furniture, and cubbies will further enrich the learning journey of both my current and future students. This academic year, my students have demonstrated independence and engagement during individual tasks and while utilizing technology. They engage with a daily app to reinforce their learning, and the reduced noise level during technology usage has had a positive impact. Students have shown progress and comprehension while working on the daily app, transitioning from a pre-K3 level to readiness for kindergarten.

The introduction of cubby storage cabinets and bins will enhance the language and literacy learning experience by providing organization.

Students are enthusiastic about learning letters, sounds, sight words, and more. In small groups, students are responsible for accessing their centers, but at times, they struggle due to a lack of storage. The new headphones, cubby storage, and bins will enable students to focus on their learning using the app with minimal distractions. The cubby storage furniture will assist in tailoring and arranging literacy centers to support student learning. My students have already displayed a keen interest in independent tasks, and these additions will further enhance their educational journey through technology and structured centers.
