Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We will create a wonderful hands-on experience where our second graders get to dress the part in their operating gowns and work with human body models that have removable parts - how fun! As well as a lung and heart models that show how air and blood are circulated. We will study the digestive system, circulatory, respiratory, skeletal, and muscular systems. The puzzles will help them visualize how the body is put together. They will get to view cells under a microscope.

Learning is most fun with hands on experiences, this project will allow many opportunities for their learning to come to life.

I am so excited to get to explore human body systems and microscopic organisms with our second graders!
