This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My third and second grade students love learning and creating projects. We are an expeditionary and dual language school. Our school is a Title I School. My students are learning Spanish and English at the same time. They are bilingual, creative, thoughtful, and self-motivated learners.

They are always eager to gain knowledge through great books, compelling topics and ownership of their learning.

They like to move, help and interact with others. They are developing their sense of responsibility to transform their school, community and world.

My Project

The tablets and the Universal Keyboard are great learning tools for my students.

Digital Citizenship helps students take ownership of their digital lives.

All students need digital citizenship skills to participate fully in their communities and make smart choices online and in life.

As we all know, technology is part of our society, so I would like to bring technology in our class to get them college and career ready. By using these tablets I will not only be able to use them as a interactive learning center for them to work independently. Tablets are also a very special way to motivate students.
