My Project
For the past 10 years, I have been the faculty sponsor of our high school mock trial teams, and during that time, our program has grown from entering 1 team to 3-4 teams every year. It was also during this time that we were finally able to crack the code of winning a regional championship, which had previously been dominated by two schools in our area.
Without a doubt, the hardest aspect for my students is making and responding to objections; this requires them to not only be familiar with the trial procedures but also to be able to think on their feet.
We have a few copies of the first edition of Winning Objections, and it is a tremendous help for my students. I would like to add a few copies of the 2nd edition, so more students have access to this resource and are ready to excel in the courtroom!
