Fusing Art with Science

Help me give my students supplies to learn about fusing glass. We are a steam school and currently integrating science into our art program. This project would allow students more hands on activities.

My Project

We currently have a microwave kiln but need safety equipment for cutting glass and fusing. Students learn about the properties of glass and how it changes with temperature. My Art Visions students are gifted and enjoy hands on activities. My students will enjoy designing glass projects they can use in real life. The safety glasses and safety gloves are a must when working with heat and glass. Please help me get these supplies so my students will have unique experiments with melting glass in a microwave kiln. Thank you in advance for considering donating to this project.
