This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are requesting some furniture, a rug, and organizational tools to help bring our new speech therapy, occupational therapy, and psychology assessment space to life! This year, the Special Education team (2 speech therapists, 1 OT, a school psychologist, a psychology intern, and visiting bilingual assessors) at our school is so excited to have our very own classroom.

The classroom is currently in need of a lot of help to serve student needs and to become an organized space for our students with IEPs.

We currently have a teacher desk and a work table - and not much else! We need a storage cabinet in which to keep assessment materials and therapy activities, some document organization, and a rug to tie the space together.

It is such an exciting opportunity to get an entire classroom, and we want to be proud of the space when we show it to our students!
