Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In a quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson he says "It's a happy talent to know how to play". In this project my primary aged art students would be using play to build and refine their fine motor skills. Fine motor skills are essential for so many skills in life: writing, creating and building, getting dressed, eating, and even brushing teeth.

By donating to this project you will be helping to create fun centers where these young artists are developing these skills while they are busy learning using interactive play.

My youngest students would greatly benefit from tools to manipulate and sort objects which will strengthen their tripod and pincher grips. Smaller manipulatives like lacing beads, kinetic sand, and stacking rocks will help students develop the necessary strength, finger control, and even hand-eye coordination to make them better artists and writers.
